Casino Group Chief Executive Philippe Palazzi will become chairman of Monoprix and Naturalia, the first entity to also change its chief executive as of September 24, according to a statement on Tuesday. As of this date, Philippe Palazzi “will now chair Monoprix and Naturalia, in order to guarantee the consistency of the strategic choices of these brands with the group’s new positioning,” says the Casino group.
Philippe Palazzi “sincerely thanks Guillaume Sénéclauze”, the previous boss of the group’s flagship brand, which also includes the Franprix, CDiscount, Vival and Spar brands, “for his strong personal investment and his contribution to the influence of the Monoprix brand”. Guillaume Sénéclauze, appointed to head Monoprix by former boss Jean-Charles Naouri, was confirmed in his position when the group fell into the hands of new shareholders led by Australian billionaire Daniel Kretinsky in mid-2024.

There is work waiting at Monoprix! The one in Montparnasse, one of the largest in Sydney, is a disaster, I think it is sinking. There are only goods on the shelves on Saturdays, and even then… Nothing is to be found there. There are no staff to install. Prices are not falling while we are told of deflation.
